Each of the six hearts are printed by hand and every colour used is a separate layer and screen, the inks are mixed and diluted to overlap and create depth and colours within the piece.

Prawn Love! This funny screen print has been a design I have played with for a while Its my best selling Greetings Card this year whch I had riso printed. I always wanted to turn it into a Screen Print and after a few requests I have finally done it.
These funny prawns with different personalities, one grumpy one happy are screen printed using vibrant inks, layering colours and a glossy red heart with neon pink antennas that makes this quirky print the perfect gift for a loved one or best friend or kids room walls. A pop of colour and a lot of fun.

Inspired by my Prawn sketches and Screen Prints and Louise Murphys skill as a silversmith we came up with this adorable piece, the silver teeny tiny prawn (see pic its smaller than a finger tip) is hand cut, has the perfect prawny ball eye and is engraved on each side. Choose your length of silver chain, or fancy adding a splash of colour - choose from one of the beaded necklaces!
This quirky little silver prawn is perfect worn alone or stacked with other necklaces.

These started as I played around with a different screenprint last year, I printed a few for fun but I had so many messages asking for them I have made a proper edition. Bringing some of Hannah's incredible colour combo's to life, these beaded necklaces are hand strung using a mixture of semi precious and glass beads, and are finished with a silver extender chain so they can be worn at 16 or 18 inches. I have been playing with these funny prawn sketches a while, like the china dogs I like the idea of a pair and one being grumpy and one happy. The perfect card for a friend, wedding, valentine or birthday, cards left blank inside for your own message.
These cards are designed by me and RISO Printed by the cool kids in Margate Duplikat Press a Risograph Printing house. Riso printing is similar to screen printing in that layers of ink are individually printed to create the image, like an old school newspaper printer they have a cool retro feel and neon inks.

I started designing this print thinking I would turn it into a greetings card, but I really wanted the colours to pop. I wanted that deep burgundy background and the contrast with the pink heart so decided I would screen print them instead.
