They started out as a request from my husband for his man-cave walls and have evolved as I played with layers and textures within each screen print. Each print is a one of one original print.

Limited Edition Large Hearts & Flowers screen print in Burgundy, Reds and Blues. A NEW release limited edition screen print and just 4, as I start a new edition I try different colours before I commit to a bigger run. Each of the six hearts are printed by hand and every colour used is a separate layer and screen, the inks are mixed and diluted to overlap and create depth and colours within the piece.

Screen Printed onto GF Smith Smooth White Paper, size aprox 48cm x 48cm
Designed by me, but printed by the cool, girls in Margate at Duplikat Press in Riso, a similar technique to screen printing in that its printed in layers of colour but run through risograph printing machine, like an old school newspaper or poster printer. Each layer has a colour chosen so you can get the Neon colours that can't be achieved in standard CMYK digital print. Due to the colours being layered up like a screen print, they don't always perfectly line up, this again is part of the charm of it being a hand made item not a "perfect" digital print.
They are a different quality to a screen print, the colours are less opaque, but kind of cool in their own right, more of a comic book, water colour vibe I always think.
Still printed as a limited edition, but due to not being hand printed more budget friendly.

I have a bit of a love of the Googly Eye, I made a card range a few years back that I insisted we stick teeny tiny googly eyes on to hundreds of mini cards I had screen printed and really whats not made more fun than the addition of a pair of googly eyes??
This Googly Eye Screen Print, is still hand screen printed (by me) but with a slightly different technique to my usual style, CMYK. Still layering up the colours, its 4 layers (so 4 screens, 4 colours) in total. First the Yellow, Magenta, Cyan and Black Layer on top. Each spot is printed at a slightly different angle on the page to build up the image.
Close up you can really see the 4 colours in there almost pop arty form but up on the wall these Googly Eyes really pop and the image as a whole takes shape. A fun mini print.

Inspired by my scalloped Ghost Screen Prints and Louise Murphys skill as a silversmith we came up with this adorable piece, the silver teeny tiny Ghost (see pic its smaller than a finger tip) is hand cut, has the perfect little scalloped edge and is engraved on each side.
This quirky little silver Ghost is perfect worn alone or stacked with other necklaces.
