Googly Eyes | Screen Print

I have a bit of a love of the Googly Eye, I made a card range a few years back that I insisted we stick teeny tiny googly eyes on to hundreds of mini cards I had screen printed and really whats not made more fun than the addition of a pair of googly eyes??

This Googly Eye Screen Print, is still hand screen printed (by me) but with a slightly different technique to my usual style, CMYK. Still layering up the colours, its 4 layers (so 4 screens, 4 colours) in total. First the Yellow, Magenta, Cyan and Black Layer on top. Each spot is printed at a slightly different angle on the page to build up the image.

Close up you can really see the 4 colours in there almost pop arty form but up on the wall these Googly Eyes really pop and the image as a whole takes shape. A fun mini print.

A small Limited Edition of just 10 prints while I try new prints (I have a few more googly eye prints in production, watch this space)
