When a Screen Print has THIS MANY Layers, smudges and mistakes are inevitable. So these are the 2nds… I actually don’t think you notice unless you are really looking, but I have tried to photograph the obvious smudges… STILL super colourful and such a Happy Print!
These were an experiment using Block colours for each line rather than random Rainbow every letter.
These have Sold Out a few times and may well be the last batch I do. A teeny edition, only 6 prints in fact going on the website today (and a few seconds will be in the Sample Sale next week)
YOU ARE MY SUNSHINE screen printed in rainbow inks, overlapping colours in so many layers I lose count, they take a while to create, layering up the inks on each letter individually and you will find tiny ink splatters as the process builds. Part of a hand printed piece of art I guess than something “perfect” and printed by machine.
(I am trying to keep my prices lower, these used to be £125 but I would rather they go to new homes than sit as stock for ages)
Size: 40cm x 55cm (aprox, I cut down larger sheets)
Printed on GF Smith Smooth White paper, Artist numbered and Signed
The colours in the photo never do them justice, brighter and happier in real life, always! (Frame just for photo, sold as Print Only)
